Our site gives you the order of ten standard hands from the strongest to the weakest in a five card game.
It consists of Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10 all of the same suit and is the highest poker hand.
Any five cards sequence found in the same suit, such as 7,6,5,4,3 of clubs. Another example would be 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of hearts.
Four of a kind
Four cards of the similar value like 10, 10, 10, 10 of Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack etc.
Three cards of similar rank accompanied by a pair, such as 5,5,5,5 and Queen, Queen.
Five cards of the same suit, though not in sequence such as King, 5, 9, 2, 7 of hearts.
Five cards in sequence, but not of the same suit such as 3 of clubs, 4 of clubs, 5 of diamonds, 6 of spades and 7 of diamonds).
Three of a kind
Three cards of the same value and two kickers of different ranks, such as Jack, Jack, Jack
Two separate pairs of similar ranks such as 5,5 King, King.
Two cards of same rank such as 9,9 or Queen, Queen.
In the event, a Poker hand carries none of the above varieties then it is ranked by the highest card in it.
